The following Terms and Conditions apply to all visitors and users of this web site. By accessing this web site, visitors and users acknowledge acceptance of these Terms and Conditions. Gershwins Hairdressing reserves the right to change these Terms and Conditions at its sole discretion. In the case of any violation of these Terms and Conditions, Gershwins Hairdressing reserves the right to seek all remedies available by law and in equity for such violations.

Ordering

Orders can be made online via our secure server (128 bit enctption providing the highest levels of security), or by telephone, fax, or post.
We do accept credit/debit cards
We reserve the right to alter or amend product specifications without prior notice.

Guarantee

Manufacturers guarantee/warranty will apply where appropriate. Your statutory rights are not affected.

Price

All prices are quoted in British Sterling and are inclusive of VAT (IF APPLICABLE) (as may be prescribed by law from time to time), unless otherwise specified.

Payment

Payments by must be made in British Sterling only, unless otherwise specified, and by one of the following payments. Visa, MasterCard, Debit, Switch and Maestro 
Customers from outside the UK can only pay by International credit card or bank transfer and must pay in Pound Sterling unless otherwise specified. All other terms and conditions apply.
Gershwins Hairdressing shall retain the property of the goods until full payment has been made by the customer and has been received.

Delivery

Any date or period for delivery shall be considered as indicative only. Most products are available for immediate dispatch, although it is our policy to try to dispatch all orders within 3 working days. Any products not available at the time of your order will be sent to you, as soon as possible, when received from the supplier. Gershwins Hairdressing cannot be held responsible for delays in the delivery caused by the supplier, or any other third party.

All orders are delivered using Royal Mail unless otherwise specified. All products are shipped using standard post. Express delivery is an option and will be charged extra. International postage will be charged for also. Gershwins Hairdressing has the right to fluctuate these prices in proportion with their costs for shipping. The customer must request any other delivery method at the time of order and goods will be shipped under the customer’s responsibility.

Passing of Risk

The risk in the goods shall pass to the Customer on delivery.
In the event of an order being lost by a third party, Gershwins Hairdressing bears no risk once it has left their trading premises. Where goods have been received damaged, a refund/exchange application will only be acknowledged if the defective goods are returned together with their original packaging within 14 days of order to Gershwins Hairdressing trading address. Damaged or missing goods must be notified to us in writing within five working days.

Where the goods are signed for, the customer bears the risk once the goods are signed for. If a customer believes that a parcel has been tampered with, it is their responsibility to refuse to sign for the goods.
Any refund/exchange given is at the discretion of the management of Gershwins Hairdressing. Failure to give accurate information while making a claim may lead to a prosecution from Royal Mail.

Acceptance

The Customer shall inspect the goods within a reasonable time after their receipt and shall be deemed to have accepted the goods unless within 14 days after their receipt the Customer shall have notified Gershwins Hairdressing that the goods are rejected. (This does not however affect the customer’s statutory rights). If no such action has been taken, Gershwins Hairdressing shall consider the products being as described, of satisfactory quality and fit for their purposes, and may not accept any reject at a later date.

Returns

Before returning any goods you must first contact Gershwins Hairdressing. We cannot accept any returned goods without first contacting Gershwins Hairdressing.

In cases of product defect Gershwins hairdressing will reimburse the postage costs on receipt of return and a full refund or new product of exact specification will be dispatched if it is in stock. The faulty or damaged product must be returned to Gershwins Hairdressing before the refund or replacement can be issued.
In cases where the rejection is due to an incorrect order from the Customer or to dissatisfaction, the Customer is entitled to a partial refund (full refund less postage), only.

If the customer decides to return the product and cancel the order, the customer will pay for the cost of the return postage.

Returns Procedure

If the goods are to be rejected within the stated time limit set above, the Customer shall comply with the defined return procedure. Gershwins Hairdressing will not accept any returned goods should the return not follow the aforementioned return procedure.
The returns policy requires the Customer to contact Gershwins Hairdressing by email to notify their intention to return any goods.
Goods ordered incorrectly must be returned to Gershwins Hairdressing unopened and in the original packaging before the partial refund can be issued.

Cancellations

Cancellations are only accepted if the Customer complies with the following cancellation procedure and before the order has been dispatched. If the order has been dispatched prior to the cancellation, the return procedure as defined above will apply. If the procedure is not respected, the order will be considered valid and the Customer will remain liable for the full payment.
Cancellations can be made with Gershwins Hairdressing sales line on +44(0)1626 202115. If the goods have already been dispatched, Gershwins Hairdressing cannot refund any monies spent on postage & packaging.

Complaints

Should you wish to register a complaint with Gershwins Hairdressing then please contact info@gershwins-hairdressing.com providing as much information as possible.  For our part we undertake to acknowledge your communication within five working days, and to address the issues raised as early as possible.
